KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 26): Fuel prices will see a slight reduction this week, with the retail prices of RON97 and non-subsidised RON95 dropping by two sen to RM3.26 and RM2.63 per litre respectively, effective Nov 27 to Dec 3.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will also decrease by two sen to RM3.08 per litre. Meanwhile, diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will stay fixed at RM2.15 per litre during the same period.

The subsidised RON95 petrol under the Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) programme remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre.

The ministry said the government will continue to revise RON95, RON97 and diesel prices in line with global market movements, following the weekly pricing structure determined by the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).

MOF added that it will keep monitoring global oil price developments and take necessary measures to protect the rakyat’s welfare and well-being.
